In the year 2245 galactic colonization was done the old fashioned way: boots on the ground, plant a flag and hold it against all comers.
Planet Eido Inara was an M class world in the habitable zone orbiting the red dwarf star Titawin in the Andromeda Galaxy. Conflicts erupted within the first few years.
Emerging from the dust up were two former rivals that joined forces to fend off the newcomers: Branco Cuzo and Delilah Quatern. They became the Corsair Lords of Eido Inara, making successful raids against upstart colonies and incorporating them into their own growing kingdom.
Their fiery romance became the subject of holonovellas for centuries to come.
