Challenge Criteria
Goblincore centers on unglamorous nature embraced with unashamed delight. It’s a direct rejection of polished nature aesthetics in favor of what a goblin would love. It includes (but is not limited to) these motifs and themes:
- Reverence for untamed nature such as moss, fungi, and forest floor critters
- Curiosity cabinets and jars; windowsills/displays holding tactile natural finds and “shinies”
- Pressed flowers and leaves in old books; satchels stuffed with trinkets
- Cluttered, cozy dwelling spaces; foraging; the joy of hoarding
- Fashion: second-hand, mended, oversized, earthy palettes
Images breaking NightCafe community standards will be rejected.
All models and uploads are welcome. Just keep it on-theme and PG-13!
Boosted or not, I’ll tip the winner’s circle. Good luck! 🍀
