Photographic evidence of Charles Darwin accepting a bribe from a Gorilla

At first glance, I thought that was Charles Darwin, but it never occurred to me that you would say (in the title, when I clicked in) that he was being bribed. Is the idea to make his human readers think they are more closely related to gorillas than perhaps they really are, on the theory that this might cause people to be more willing to protect gorillas from poachers? Or is there something else going on and I'm just not grasping the subtle implications? 😉
