Floating Love

Lionel wanted to surprise his love, Adeline, with his new beard. He believed it made him look mature, important, and distinguished. So he invited Adeline on a date by St.Coraline Lake. He brought her pink peonies as they were her favorite flowers. Lionel handed her the bouquet on the bridge. "Oh Lionel, their marvelous!," Adeline thanked Lionel. Adeline took a big whiff of the sweet scent...and fell backwards into the lake. Lionel jumped in after her without thinking. He stood upright after splashing into the lake next to his love. Adeline giggled. Unlike Lionel, Adeline flip over before fall and managed to stay on her feet with the added bonus of still having her bouquet in her hands. She held out a hand to Lionel and heaved him up. To both their surprise Lionel was not the least bit wet. As the couple started their way out of the lake, their feet did not splash water around them. The two lovebirds floated above the lake as though their love was carrying them to land.
