Haru and Yuki had been friends since childhood. They grew up in the same neighborhood, went to the same school, and shared many hobbies and interests. They were always together, but never crossed the line of friendship.

One day, Haru decided to confess his feelings to Yuki. He knew that the cherry blossom season was her favorite time of the year, and he wanted to make it special for her. He invited her to go for a walk along the river, where the sakura trees were in full bloom.

They reached a wooden bridge that spanned the river, and Haru stopped. He looked into Yuki’s eyes and said, “Yuki, I have something to tell you. I’ve liked you for a long time, more than a friend.
