Syndication

All of our lives, since the very first, are really just fading memories from generation to generation. Any legacy or sense of immortality is only worth as long as your name and memory is kept alive with those who knew or knew of you. Once the interest itself begins to die, eventually even the memories cease to exist and they fade away. That to me, its very much like a favorite show that you still watch old episodes of until one day, there's so little viewer interest any longer, they stop airing. And just like monies made from syndication to those who created these lives, our memories, and therefore lives, finally, abruptly dissolve into the ether, and you're no longer earning any immortality from them.
