I did a series of famous people some time ago. I found that If the actor/actress showed up in a few "Most beautiful people…" lists, I had a much better chance of them looking acurately. Especially effective with women, as opposed to men. Scarlett Johansson, Lynda Carter, Gisele Bundchen, Even Karen Gillan came out well, But my first attempts to do Idris Elbe were terrible…handsome Black man, but not Idris. To this day I haven't been able to do either Patrick Stewart or William Shatner adequately. Perhaps the photo database isn't as developed for men. Even people like Sinatra, Dean Martin, and famous American Presidents don't come out well.

I am relieved to know even the best - unlike myself - sometimes fall short, Jim. I do believe in giving credit where it is owed, however, and the A.I. portrait of Queen Elizabeth II , actress Michele Lee and others are downright uncanny. Take care, Jim!

Thank you for the (highly undeserved) compliment, Davenport! I am like all of us, an amateur digital explorer. I have an advantage in that I've been involved digital graphics (via the printing biz) for some 25+ years, but AI is as much new to me as it is to any other curious person. I simply got an earlier start to Night Cafe than many of us. I only publish the 6-8 images (out of the 10-25 I create everyday) that I think are the best examples of my efforts that day. Sometimes they are quite good, many times they are examples of what not to do! LOL! 

In any case, you are doing very well. Your images reveal a very creative nature and an ability to tell a story in pixels.  I have perused literally thousands of galleries over the past 2ish years, and believe me that is a rare talent. You are doing wonderfully well. You are doing great… can't wait to see what you do in the future!
