How It Hunts: The Nighthowler moves only at night, following people who stray from populated areas. It does not attack immediately. Instead, it whistles softly, a sound that slowly grows closer, no matter how far you run. When it finally reaches you, the whistling stops.
Lore: The Nighthowler was once a lost traveler, trapped in a snowstorm, his lips frozen shut as he tried to scream for help. Now, he whistles for others, forever searching for warmth but bringing only death.
Powers:
Inescapable Song: The whistling is always behind you, even if you sprint in the opposite direction.
Light Aversion: It cannot enter bright light, but it will wait just outside the glow.
Silent Kill: No one hears its victims scream—only the final note of the whistle.
