Suleia Amee and the Reemergence of Paris Nouveau

In 3198 the custom built planet of Paris Nouveau simply vanished from it's orbit around Ceres without a trace.

Speculation ranged from a targeted black hole to abduction by an inter dimensional alien demigod into a menagerie of collectibles.

When the science fiction aficionados lost their zeal for the mystery after a few decades, nothing was left but an eerie silence in space where the decadent planet had been.

Holographic images of it's many quaint reproductions of Eiffel's famous masterpiece sold at a premium, for a while, until they too fell into disinterest.

That was until the year 3647, when Paris Nouveau simply reappeared on its usual trajectory around the star. A new leader had emerged amongst it's inhabitants, Suleia Amee. She was bold, vivacious and confident. To the many inquiries her only explanation was that Paris Nouveau was fashionably late and trending across the Cosmopolitan Cosmos.
