Thanks! Some of these remind me of WATCHMEN artist Dave Gibbons, some of Brian Bolland (the artist I mentioned in the prompt), and some of another artist whose name I forget but who worked with Alan Moore on his Wildstorm anthology. I'm an American, but it strikes me as reminiscent of stuff that 2000 A.D. or WARRIOR might have published over in the U.K.

Yeah, it's a weird combination of Gibbons and Bolland, and you might be thinking of Kevin Maguire (he worked with Moore on Wildcats). I agree, it looks very "British" :))

Inspired by the Harlan Ellison classic short story "'Repent, Harlequin!' Said the Ticktockman," which was once adapted for audio in a production that was narrated and performed by Robin Williams.

The art here is inspired by the bold, colorful comic book work of the great Brian Bolland, though nothing matches a human touch.

Still ... this may be my favorite thing I've ever made. (Just don't tell the Elephant Mastiff. Frankie's a pup, and I don't want to give him neuroses.)
