The young Dru-Zod is a Kryptonian, an humanoide from far far planet Krypton. The ZOD and EL families were among the most prestigious in Krypton.

The Zod family has always been a military family and young Dru-ZOD was no exception to the rule. Brilliant career, he reached the rank of GENERAL in chief of the army of Krypton, before his fall.
