On The End Times

This is a movie poster for this story prompt:

A perpetually awkward and uncharismatic introvert named Simon develops an unexpectedly loyal, and alarmingly literal, group of followers. They misinterpreted his sarcastic blog posts about "the end times" and now believe he is their messianic leader. A shadowy, established cult takes offense to Simon's growing influence and begins to hunt him and his followers, believing Simon has stolen their "prophecies." Simon must navigate this dangerous world of clandestine rituals and deadly enforcers while desperately trying to convince his own devoted followers that he's just a guy who hates small talk.
