Kaitou Maryoku (22) is a street magician from Tokyo, Japan. Unlike a normal magician, he possesses strange magical powers when he was a child.
Because of the tragic death of his family members, he and his brother left at a young age and fled downtown.
During their time downtown, he and his brother would steal wallets and small trinkets in exchange for money. Because of Kaitou's magical skill of deception, no one noticed that their things have been stolen.
Unfortunately, he quit stealing after his brother was caught and all the stealing doesn't make him happier.
With the money he earned, he now finds passion by being a street magician. He occasionally performs at festivals and birthday parties, but he usually performs out in the streets of Tokyo.
He hopes that with the money he earned, he could bail his brother out of prison and live a normal, happy life together.
