Squirrels

Not far from the farm, the path led them into the forest. After about 20 minutes of traveling, they heard rustling in the trees above. Moments later, squirrels dropped down around them. "You don't realize who you messed with!" one of the squirrels said. They were clearly the farmer's sons, and there were at least five of them. Pipper said nothing, but before the squirrel could finish speaking, he was already airborne. Pipper moved with the grace of a dancer and with an incredible speed. The farmer’s sons had never imagined a mouse would fight them—let alone win—and with such ease! Pipper had them all down within two minutes. Holding a knife to the throat of the one who had spoken, he said, "You have one chance. Walk away now. If I see you again, you will not come out alive." He let the squirrel go. They disappeared almost as quickly as they had appeared.
