The Hulk (Earth-241)

For 18yrs, the Hulk was Bruce Banner's uncontrollable rage filled alter-ego, emerging whenever Banner became angry or stressed, and attacking who or whatever was threatening him. And the angrier he got, more powerful he became. This resulted in many destructive rampages, and numerous confrontations with the military (namely Gen. Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross) and other heroes, such as Wolverine, Thor, and the Avengers. On many occasions though, the Hulk often fought against world ending threats from villians such as Magneto, Kang, Galactus, and he did so alongside the heroes that had previously been enemies. Now, with the aid of Dr Strange, Prof Xavier and Tony Stark, Banner has finally taken control of the Hulk, able to change at will, and also retaining his intellect once in Hulk's form. Banner/Hulk is now a member of the Avengers.
