Office transgirl's weekend dreams

NightCafe end-of-workday lovebomb ...

The week's busywork was done. She turned to her personal laptop. NightCafe's alerts bell was in double digits. A morale booster, after a day where little progress was made, only stemming the tide of decay and putting out fires.

Her queer themed picture she forgot she'd entered in a challenge had placed higher and gotten more likes than expected. She'd been nervous about posting them. Was she really a "she," anyway? Others identified more as female. She just was okay being male but liked dressing and not having to feel masculine when going out. But she still made excuses not to go out.

All the likes pushed her away. They felt nice but didn't replace real social contact. And yet ... they encouraged her to try for more.

She had a few bright suits she hadn't worn. It felt selfish to want more than being able to dress as she wanted at work. And to want to show off, but of course, it was also sharing with fellow queerfolk and transfolk.
