“Thank you, Colonel,” said McClendon.
“Sister Helena, once we offload CB-3’s gear, can you give them a tour of the Monastery?” Larkin asked.
“Yes, Sir. I can,” Helena replied.
Chief Pfluger spoke up. “Tell ya whut, man, be careful widdat dang ol’ gear, man, some o’ that stuff, shoot, delicate’s all get-out, man, break if ya look at it cross-eyed, mmm-hmm,” he said rapidly in a Central Texas accent.
Fairbairn raised an eyebrow. “Did anyone get that?”
Helena raised her hand. “I understand him, Sir. “He said to be careful with their gear, some of this stuff is delicate.”
“Thank you, Sister,” said Larkin. “You heard Helena. Mind the Seabees’ gear. Fairbairn and Bjornson nodded. It took the two teams an hour to bring the gear into the refectory.

“This is starting to give me deja vu,” said Fairburn to Helena as they passed each other. “It feels like last Thursday all over again.”
“I agree,” replied Helena. “But we'll get things squared away.”
“Oh indeed,” said Fairbairn. With their gear brought in, Sister Helena showed the Seabees to their quarters. They thanked the Carmelite and Helena went to her own quarters to pray Vespers and meditate.
After prayers, Helena returned to the refectory. The Seabees picked out their MRE's and sat down. Helena picked out an MRE and sat down at the table across from Pfluger. Larkin and Bjornson did the same and sat down next to Commander McClendon. Fairbairn entered the room, came up to Sister Helena and tapped her on the shoulder. Helena turned her head to face Fairbairn.
“Can you help me get ready for tonight?” the Scott whispered into Helena’s ear.
