My submission for the "Mermaids" challenge for August 30, 2023. This was one of my favorite challenges ever, because I like mermaids quite a bit and wanted to really do something somewhat different here. You normally see them along ocean shores and such, but I thought, what would one look like at an alpine mountain lake? They often have crystal clear waters, and tend to have large boulders that would be perfect for basking on. Imagine seeing some at Lake Tahoe or a similar location! So here is the result of that thought, and I love it! That moonrise in the background especially just made this work for me! Hopefully everyone enjoys it as well!

Human again. Human, with one bit of clothing. The white satin camisole. It was wrapped around her when she was a fox. She unwrapped it from her neck, pulled down over head. The cami was a cute article of clothing...but it only came down and stopped 3 inches above her bellybutton. Needless to say... it didn't cover much of her. Vixen looked around to see if there was something she could use as a makeshift skirt. The alley she was in, was behind a bunch of pastry shops, nothing but dumpsters of stale bread, donuts, and baked goods. Nothing useful. The day was still rainy, and a gust of wind blew down the alley that made her wet ginger hair fly in the air and made her body shiver. "I'm going to freeze to death!" She thought. Perhaps, I could go back to animal form again. That would be better. She closed her eyes, clenched her fists, and concentrated on  wielding her herself to become a 100% fox. To be continued...
