Snow-Fungus

Habitat: Subglacial layers, geothermal pockets, ice-caverns of Australis Description: Snow-Fungus is a pale, web-like mycelium that thrives in the frozen strata beneath Australis’s glacial crust. It spreads slowly through microscopic fractures in the ice, forming lace-like colonies that resemble frost patterns or ghostly root networks. Many strains emit a faint bioluminescent glow, ranging from soft blue to violet, especially when disturbed or exposed to heat.
