Fables for the naive at heart,
A trivial task, to make them up.
Yet lies have traveled far and wide,
"Wolves are bad!" What a corrupt!
We're always blamed, no matter what goes wrong,
And for some reason, wolves are deemed the foe.
But do we truly seem so full of malice,
As to deserve such slander, hate, and woe?
If ever there's a loss of cattle or sheep,
It's always us they point the finger at.
The wolf, they say, is up to his tricks,
A sly and vicious predator, they call us.
A biased image taints my reputation,
Painting me as a thief, a bandit, a crook.
But who decided that wolves are such a nation
Of malevolent creatures with evil outlook?
