Cats in Wonderland, being cats.

A cat sits on a toadstool with a wizard smoking a hookah together. The cat smiles broadly as he reveals a row of teeth that resemble the daggers of small faeries, and he says " we are all mad here." As he sees the wizard the wizard sees him, and the wizard realizes he is seeing himself in the mirror and projecting the cat as a representative of his internal self image. The cat is his confidence and his toughness, even savagery. But this purple and pink grinning cat is also his kindness and his sense of humor and wonder and guiding principles. He sees himself in the cat and the cat sees himself as magical because he's always hoped to be seen as someone's hero. The cat feels like a dapper gentleman and a special cat reserved only for special people.
