The Stranger Who Stayed

• Age: 33 • Look: Chinito, soft-spoken, rugged in a quiet way; windbreaker always zipped halfway • Build: Tall and lanky, with slouched shoulders and kind hands • Personality: Gentle, awkward, sincere to a fault. The kind of guy who returns lost dogs. • Backstory: Moved to the city after losing someone. Writes poems in his Notes app. • Signature Quirk: Always checks the weather app—even when it’s clearly raining • Defining Line: “You looked like someone waiting for something. I wanted to be that something.”
