Father McGrady 2.5

Father McGrady is a local boy who returned home and is the Catholic priest for his home parish in my fictional West Tennessee college town. We see him more after Kyle Saunders starts college at the local private university, which started out with a Quaker affiliation but is now nonsectarian. He also serves as the campus's spiritual director (in which capacity he doesn't wear the robes and collar, as seen here) and minister for the Catholic student body.

Kyle knows that the priest is an old friend of his mother's and that the man who raised him hates Catholics in general and this priest in particular, which is enough to pique the lad's curiosity despite his general disbelief in anything religious.
