An iceberg in the North Sea

The North Sea is the body of water between Great Britain, Denmark, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France--northwestern Europe. It might not seem like a place for icebergs, but it is a cold sea that's home to major shipping lanes and the North Sea Crude. This iceberg may be a throwback to the massive ice shelf that existed in the mid-Pleistocene transition, marked by major glacial transitions. Although it is a small ice island, it stands like a survivor of a bygone age. You can see the coastlines of the European nations in the picture.
