Alice started as an NPC that the party rescued from Varon (orcish) slavers operating in the shadows of Acergard. Their interactions with her were too playful to not keep her in the game given she was the "toughy" in the mix of women they rescued, so she became the first face anyone sees when entering the guildhall. Receptionist is only her official title, but she also works as a trailblazer in the wilds and helps communication between Acergard and the many nations of Gaviolla.
