Fettling

Lore / Behavior: Fettlings are social yet timid, often clustering in small groups. They communicate in high-pitched gurgles and muffled speech, sharing scraps of food they hoard obsessively. While largely harmless individually, they will defend their cluster aggressively if threatened. Fettlings are often found scavenging abandoned banquet halls or ruined kitchens, drawn to the lingering scents of meals past. Their obsession with consumption is both literal and symbolic—they are a reflection of unchecked indulgence and societal decay, unable to satiate their own appetites.
