This city was established in 2045. Like most of the cities in the increasing wave of seasteading ventures, Tide City acquires its food supply primarily from fishing. It also farms deep-sea kelp. Its power is provided from a combination of hydroelectric power, solar power and geothermal collectors down on the ocean floor.

In the event that Tide City comes under attack, its main defense is to submerge like a submarine. The city is fully submersible and can use the tall building at its center, the Atlantis Building, as a periscope and a snorkel for the entire city. The city is 641 feet long, and the Atlantis Building is 337 feet tall. The population of Tide City is roughly 9,500. Much of the city's structure is below the water line; it extends over 250 feet down into the ocean.
