Resting Beneath the Swirl

In this vibrant Post-Impressionist study, the artist invites a contemporary muse into the swirling cosmos of Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night. The subject’s composed, reclining form sits in tension with the turbulent celestial backdrop and the jarring red silhouette that frames her. Through thick impasto and a bold, unconventional palette, the work explores the intersection of classic art history and modern identity, questioning the boundary between the observer and the observed.
