The battle

The last muffin flies and the final sandwich splatters. Silence settles over the battlefield of crumbs and spilled coffee. Something stirs in the shadows. From the corner of the cafeteria, strange shapes emerge, claws scraping and eyes glowing. Chimera, cyclops, and giant three-headed dogs slink into the chaos, drawn by the scent of flying food and rebellion. The angry eggs, exhausted but defiant, realize their next fight will be unlike anything they have faced. Mythical monsters have arrived.
