Penitent Chorister

Penitent Choristers wander in ruined cathedrals, abandoned shrines, and monasteries where both holiness and sin have soaked into the stones. They sing prayers of both lament and wrath, their hymns soothing the weary but unnerving to those hiding guilt. Adventurers describe their presence as equal parts comforting and oppressive—like a kind smile that hides the weight of judgment. These beings start to reveal their dual nature, their faith-borne compassion balanced against wrath waiting to surface.
