Velvet gaze unfolds,
Geometry wrapped in light—
Stillness breathes with grace.

A minimalist felt portrait of a woman framed in vibrant layers of yellow, black, and blue. Her piercing blue eyes and red lips contrast with the crisp geometric background, blending elegance, abstraction, and subtle emotion into a striking textile composition.

Artistic Statement: Rooted in Cubism and mid-century modernist portraiture, this piece refines the language of felt into sculptural geometry. Precision-cut shapes and bold contours balance with emotive restraint. The flatness of felt is subverted to sculptural ends, evoking digital clarity through analog tactility.

Influencing Artists: Amrita Sher-Gil, Alex Katz, Pablo Picasso, Tamara de Lempicka, Henri Matisse
