Like, my fifth D&D character, I think? Anyway, this guy was a study in contrasts: A typically melee race acting in a caster role. I also made him something of a charlatan, so I thought it made sense for him to be pretty well-dressed and well-coiffed to reflect his charisma. Plus, it’s just fun to mess around with what we think of certain races and classes. He’s a warlock, and his patron is a fiend, which I tried to demonstrate through the background and his fiery Eldritch Blast.
