“Helena and I infiltrated the camp where this Goa’uld’s influence is growing,” said Fairbairn. 

“They definitely have the markings of a cult,” said Helena. 

“That is disturbing,” said Cate. 

“I'm requesting engineering support. I want a thirty meter kill zone around the village. Seabees,” said Larkin. “And to move the Stargate closer to the village.”

“Got it. Anything else?

“Larkin sighed. “It's about Helena. She has Naqadah in her bloodstream. Part of a Rogue NID experimentation. She says that she would get massive headaches when using Naquadah based tech. She's got an inhibitor now, but we might need her to operate Goa’uld tech. We need to correct the imbalance.”


“I've been blended with Aspasia for fourteen years now and with my high ATA rating, which is on par with Helena’s, we've never had any problem, said Cate. 

“I have a feeling my Naquadah infusion maybe the product of a botched operation,” said Helena. “We discovered liturgical texts about the spiritual leaders being taken off world for an Naquadah infusion. There's a Goa’uld weapons platform in orbit.”

“Right. I remember reading SG-1's mission reports of P4X-987 and SG-1 getting Zatted by something in orbit,” Cate said. Once again Cate bowed her head and closed her eyes. Aspasia was in control.

“Sokar was the only Goa’uld that used that technology and would use it on his far-away outposts. Your P4X-987 is one of those he used such technology on. He would entrust one person and his descendants with it. Usually it would be one family but given P4X-987’s Christian roots Sokar chose the planets religious leader,” Aspasia said. 


“And what about Helena?” Larkin asked. 

“It sounds like the Rogue NID butchered Sokar’s techniques. Catherine's sister might be able to help you,” Aspasia replied.

“Thank you, Aspasia,” said Larkin. Aspasia nodded, closed her eyes and bowed her head. 
Cate was in control once again. 

“So shall I have Sam send Tyra to you? She’s a chest cutter you know.”

“Sure,” replied Larkin. “Aspasia must know something you must know that you don’t.”


“Databurst received,” Cate replied. She scrolled to the Goa’uld symbols. She looked at them and then closed her eyes and bowed her head. Aspasia took control.

“I do not recognize these symbols,” Aspasia said in her flanged voice. Helena became frightened. 

“It's alright, Sister,” Fairbairn said. “She's one of ours.”

Larkin smiled. “I forgot to tell you. Cate is blended with a symbiote named Aspasia. She used to be a Goa’uld until Cate showed her the light.”

“Then she's a Tok’ra?” Helena asked. 

“All but in name,” Aspasia said. The symbiote paused for a moment. “I will pass this on to the Tok’ra High Council as soon as possible.” 

“Thank you, Aspasia,” Larkin said. Aspasia had nodded, closed her eyes and bowed her head. Cate was in control.
