Good old Ratatoskr, a witty squirrel who lives in the World Tree Yggdrasill. He carries messages (and insults 😂) between the nameless eagle who sits  atop of Yggdrasill, and the serpent Níðhöggr, who dwells beneath one of the three roots of the World Tree.

Witty Ratatoskr

Baldr, son of Odin and the Goddess Frigg. Known for his beauty and kind heart, he was loved by Gods and even Jotnar alike. After having a dream where he had seen his own death, a dream shared also by Frigg, she heads out and makes every object and living thing vow to never hurt Baldr. All but, the mistletoe, since this plant was considered too young to make vows or oaths, a deed that was common in Old Norse ways. 
One night as the Gods were having fun, throwing objects and weapons on Baldr, laughing cause nothing would hurt him, Loki got jealous and called Baldr’s blind brother Höðr, who was sad he couldn’t participate. Loki gave him a spear with the point wrapped in mistletoe and whispered he would guide his hand on where to throw, so Höðr could join in on the fun. Höðr launched the spear, a loud scream was heard, as Baldr dropped dead to the ground.
