The Hooded Heart: The Tiefling and the Painter

He still remembers the day he painted her, the day he lost her. She was a tiefling, a half-demon, a cursed being. He was a human, a normal man, a blessed soul. They met by chance, they fell in love by fate. They knew their love was forbidden, they knew their love was doomed.

She agreed to pose for him, to let him capture her beauty in oils. She wore a hooded cloak, hiding her horns and her tail. She sat on a chair, facing him with a smile. He took his brush and his palette, and began to paint her on a canvas. He painted her eyes, deep and dark. He painted her lips, soft and red.
