Character Spotlight: Charles Johnson Jr

The main antagonist in chapter 6. Title: The Boogeyman

Charles is the son of evergreens 25th mayor, one that was extremely popular even by both sides of the political spectrum. He was popular with everyone except underground crime and political activists. His son was equally popular, however he had just started his first year of college. He at the time was dating who would later become David’s wife.

Due to a large corporation gaining power in Mayor Johnson’s administration a group of radical activists splashed acid in the face of his son. This ruined the remainder of time he had in college and caused mayor Johnson to step down.

He spends the next two decades building a reputation in the local mafia scene. And vowed not only to become the most powerful man in evergreen, but to also gain revenge on Violet who abandoned him.

He is a antagonist that gets redeemed. He represents Martine’s obsession
