A Grisgol is an 8-foot-tall, 400-pound construct composed of broken and worn-out magical items. Its skeleton is made from old staffs and wands, and its skin is composed of expended scrolls wrapped around it like a mummy’s burial cloth. It has pieces of tattered magic belts, robes, and chainmail integrated into its form. Inside the creature are numerous half-empty vials of potions and unguents, resembling internal organs. The Grisgol wears a rune-scribed cloak or robe, and its head is often hooded or covered by an old helmet from which pinpoints of red light glare. Thin tendrils of black smoke escape from cracks in its body, and it leaves a sooty, oily residue on whatever it touches.
