It all makes sense.
After he returned to the world of the living, he decided to get a life. He went to go get nose surgery to get back a nose and went on Tinder right after. He finally got a date with somebody during december and asked her out for dinner. That's why he finally brushed his teeth and he's smiling! He's even wearing a tuxedo for this occasion! Never knew he could be romantic!
