Simeon Tor is the quiet heart of Tulla, the elven city of learning, and one of its most respected masters. A scholar above all else, he has devoted his life to the preservation of ancient magick and the balance between knowledge and tradition. His presence is calm yet commanding, a reminder that wisdom is not found in haste but in patience and clarity.

Though not a warrior, Simeon Tor wields authority sharper than any blade. He counsels with a measured voice, guiding his people through an age where industry rises and old ways falter. Many see him as the guardian of elven identity, a man who refuses to let the past be erased even as the world changes around him.

In Arcanum, Simeon Tor embodies the endurance of tradition. He is proof that not all battles are fought with force—some are won with memory, conviction, and the quiet strength of holding on to what must never be forgotten.

I believe I can fly

Superb illustration, constructing the flow from part to part well

It didn't seem possible. But it was.

She had heard other priests and ministers preach on this topic many times. But in the last sixteen hours it was if the veil had been torn.

*“I don’t deserve this mercy,”* Helena thought. *“Not after what I’ve done. And yet… it comes anyway. Soft as rain.”*

Tears slid down her cheek.

Then another.

Helena didn't make another sound. She couldn't. She kept her eyes fixed on the Tabernacle, tears welling up in her eyes; She was afraid she would break out in sobs. She reached into her pocket into the pocket of her habit for a linen handkerchief she carried. She pressed it gently to her cheek. Fairbairn glanced over to her just once. Not prying. Just observing.

Larkin sitting next to her, noticed Helena too. Out of the corner of his eye he saw her shoulders stiffen as bracing as if bracing against some air tide. His jaw stiffened and he tensed dash not out of anger, but out of pain. He didn't know the whole story. Not yet. But he saw the weight that the Carmelite carried. He wanted to ask her if she was all right. But the words caught. Now wasn’t the time. Later, maybe.

And in that moment, something inside him shifted.

Father Anselm rose and went to the center of the altar. The congregation rose. He intoned, “Credo in unum Deum, ...” The schola took up the same tone and prayed the ancient statement of belief that defined Christianity. The community then prayed for its needs and petitions.

The silence that followed Father Anselm's homily hung thick in the church's air, almost reverent, almost stunned. Even the children were abnormally quiet.
Sister Helena remained seated in her pew, her hands neatly folded in her lap under her scapular. She was still. Too still.

Father Anselm's words had struck her to the bone.
*“You may say, I don't feel forgiven. But forgiveness is not a feeling. It is a gift.”*

Helena swallowed hard, her breath catching in her throat. There was a tightness in her chest, one that armor could not block, and training could not vanish.

She had knelt in blood.

She had heard the gurgle in Patrick's throat.

She had washed the light go out of his eyes.

*“Your sins are forgiven.”*
