9. Khahandahar drama: Broken saline installation!

Captain's log day 149: 3 am... I was woken up by a blearing alarm indicating that the saline levels in the water were getting dangerously high. I immediately woke our marine biologist Mia and Oaks. Checking the logs, it seemed that one of the pipes of the installation on the bottom of the lake was leaking... Mia told us we had about 3 h to fix it before some of the critters in the water would start going into shock. We took the transporter and dove straight in the water. At the bottom we saw air bubbles escaping. A closer look showed a vertical slash that was too clean to be from debris... Are we being sabotaged? End of captain's log.

P.s. the animals were safe and sound by 7. Oaks and Mia deserve the day off... I guess...

P.p.s. it is beautiful down there ( bit Proud)
