Thanks shuru for your kind words! Yeah I was a bit disappointed with the result to be honest, but it's my experience that photorealistic or similar images are often better received in this community than the style of this image. Everyone can have their own preference of course, and I've learned long ago not to worry too much about likes and this kind of things 😀

It's a very healthy approach. Everyone who has been creating in NC long enough, at least the ones I've discussed it with, comes to the same thing. You get a little frustrated of course, but after a couple moments you switch to other things.
I on the contrary sometimes feel like the more artistic stuff is rated a bit better. But that's because I really like CGI and photorealism. So it's more likely just a cognitive distortion ☺️ Our attempt to analyze how a group of unknown, random people spend a couple seconds of their time evaluating something we put time, intellectual and creative effort into. And I'm not accusing anyone. 😃 It's just the way it is.

Yes. When I went to VCU School of the Arts, my favorite art style was and is Art Nouveau and the Pre Raphaelites, as well as Tiffany Morris, Mcintosh, Renoir, the impressionists. I am a nurse and a real, old fashioned illustrator and painter. This has been my first experience using Ai, and what fun it has been!
