Targil Bheha had seen enough of space and death. She used to be the captain of a loyal crew, not mere subordinates but true friends. They had shared many adventures and dangers together, until they were all killed in a brutal attack. Since then, Targil had sworn to avoid violence as much as possible, and to seek peaceful solutions to any conflict. But she still had one weapon left, the Cycler, a device that could unleash devastating. She had used it only once, long ago, but the memory still haunted her. And she knew that someday, she might have to use it again.
