Waiting for the (cigar) sommelier (missed daily challenge)

They were his favorite customers at the cigar lounge as he worked his way through law school. There were backslapping men who were louder, and there were trendy Barbie types who took selfies every two minutes. Some of the younger clientele tossed their hair around to indicate what the classy ladies didn't have.

Perhaps they would learn, perhaps they wouldn't. He'd taken stick in classes for saying he wouldn't mind working for a woman, from friends with lesser grades.

He'd made this their favorite cigar bar, too. They studied different areas of law, but they knew his grades were good, and they knew people, and they knew he'd be polite and go the extra mile even if that weren't the case.

He thought it would be nice not to have to wear a suit on the job, but he'd started making sure he wore one on the days they visited. Then sometimes he wore a vest. Then he wouldn't go without one.
