This Ladybird fell in love, but there was a price to pay. The Duke wanted a bird in a cage, and he bound her wings. Spellbound by her lover's embrace, and blinded by his glittery riches, she fell into her lover's embrace, and he locked her away. Eventually, she lost herself inside those walls. "This prison has now become your home/A sentence you seem prepared to pay." But her will was strong, and when she was ready, she broke free and flew away. On the beach, she looked back at the fortress, and she vowed to never again let love become a fortress around her heart. Inspired by the lyrics to Sting's "Fortress Around Your Heart."
