Owen Markus / Spider-Man 3000 (Earth-241)

In the year 3000, Earth is controlled by the Mega Corporations, the biggest of which is Stark Corp. On the streets gangs fight for power, cybernetic implants of every type are commonplace, and the population seek to gain wealth in order to survive. Having gained spiderlike superhuman abilities through illegal super soldier experiments run by Hammer Corp, former black ops marine Owen Markus seeks to regain the memories that the experiments stole from him, and to bring down the Mega Corp's by any means necessary. Using his new abilities combined with state of the art cybernetics, Markus has been inspired by the legends of the original Spider-Man, and now fights for freedom as the newest Spider-Man. His fight, however, will be a difficult one, as he has been branded a criminal, and is now hunted by the authorities, the deadliest gangs, and the Corporation funded Nu-Avengers.
