I'm glad you like it. I fiddled around with various approaches, including different artist's names, in my "rough drafts" before I ended up specifying Art Deco in the prompt and using CAMA3. Until then, her uniform was usually looking too much like a *normal* nurse's uniform from the 1950s. I wanted something that still made her look like a nurse at first glance, but in a "retrofuturistic" way; i.e. a bit more exotic than what female nurses were *really wearing* seventy years ago. (It also occurred to me to ask for a Mexican-American young woman; I hadn't previously specified any ethnicity, and was mostly getting generic cute blondes. I got tired of that assumption on the AI's part.) Obviously, this new combination of ingredients produced the evolution that *finally* satisfied me enough that I was willing to share it with the rest of the world and see what happened.

Retro Illustrations

I've never done a "nurse" creation before, and I just suddenly felt the urge to do one. Not set in the present day, but set in the future -- as "the future" was imagined way back in the 1950s. Things have changed a bit since then. For instance, my understanding is that female nurses in modern hospitals of the Western world (and probably elsewhere) are no longer required to wear white uniforms *with skirts.* Nowadays, male or female nurses just wear scrubs instead. But back in the Fifties, who knew that was coming?
