Charlie and The Centipede Rider, a quest of bravery and wonder

In a small town in modern-day England, Charlie Reade is a lonely and bullied teenager who dreams of escaping his miserable life. One night, he makes a wish for a miracle and promises to do something good in return. The next day, he meets his new neighbor, Mr. Bowditch, a mysterious old man who owns a large collection of keys. Mr. Bowditch tells Charlie that the keys can open portals to different worlds, and entrusts him with a special key that leads to Empyria, a land of magic and wonder inspired by old fairy tales.
