Fake accounts are plagging NC
Criado 2 years ago · 19 comentários· 0 curtida

Numerous people on NC are using fake accounts to boost the likes of their own creations.
It's usually fairly easy to spot some of those users ... they have a huge number of likes on every creation, not related to the number of their followers.
Here's one method you can use if you think you encountered one.
Click on one of their creations.
Click on "likes" to see who liked the creation.
Scroll down to the people who liked first, select a few accounts with few followers and look at what those account published and liked.
Usually a handfull of creations published months ago and likes only toward 1 account always the same.

Make sure to report any account you feel is fake to the moderators so they can look into it.

Some newbies will get a LOT of likes on a single new creation as everyone goes to like it in the newbie feed then it ends up in the top trending/hourly etc because they have few other creations and they have been able to publish something pretty nice at the start. I mean, if I look at newbie stuff I do tend to scroll until I see something I actually think is great before dropping likes/comments rather than just doing so on the first few I see. I don't want people to think something really poorly rendered is actually a great work by commenting/liking it just for my hospitality credits!
Thanks a mil Stormy for detailed instructions! Now I can finally get some likes on my creations! 👍🤭
@gullyDJ @thecastledking What do you think about that? I started reporting a few accounts satellite accounts but not the main ones. As mods what's your opinion? Do you know what 's NC's position about this?
