Fantastic picture!! Do you think if machines can build themselves avatars, they would make them humanoid? Or is it more if our representation of a sentient machine? I can imagine something huge, like a spiderweb of cameras, sensors, infrared and Röntgen, chemical, movement and what you name it sensors on specific points that will be representative, so they will calculate from the pattern the rest of the events and behaviors.
