Botched Bigfoot Taxidermy

In the late 1800s as more and more settlers moved west, many hunters and fur trappers set out for the big prize: Bigfoot. A Bigfoot fur coat alone cost almost as much as a hundred acres of unsettled land in those days. Most hunters were crude and inexperienced, and thought it best to sell their trophy kills to taxidermists, many who were equally crude and inexperienced themselves. All in this niche industry were hoping to cash in on the Old Money dollars itching to purchase a full Bigfoot taxidermy for their New England homes. Here we have an amateur Taxidermist with an adolescent Bigfoot. 1886.
